For airports, the combination of ADMS-COMMAND, ADMS-EOC, ADMS-DRIVE, and ADMS-ARFF can be very effective. An example is a team training system for ADMS-COMMAND can be constructed with multiple ADMS-ARFF consoles to train multi-vehicle response to aircraft incidents, and a large on-scene projection screen for the incident commander.
Adding an ADMS-EOC station enables the inclusion of the Airport Disaster Management Team by adding the planning, plotting and database capabilities they need. The ADMS-ARFF units can be upgraded for higher-fidelity driver training with the inclusion of ADMS-DRIVE. Hundreds up to thousands of users per airport can use this ADMS Airport Suite, making it a very cost effective solution.
Police and/or Military are responsible for riot control operations. These are very special and stressful operations where responders have to deal with violence and unpredictable crowd behavior and enact special tactics, weapons and vehicles. To prepare for these types of operations, we suggest opting for a combination of ADMS-COMMAND, ADMS-EOC, and ADMS-DRIVE In this case the ADMS-DRIVE simulator layout and scoring will be configured for Riot Control Vehicles. These vehicles can be driven in convoy to the scene and operated by the drivers and vehicle commanders, while the incident commander uses a large projection screen for commanding and controlling his resources. Complete platoons of officers can be deployed in accordance with special tactics procedures.
The artificial intelligence of the ADMS crowds and deployed forces will interact realistically. Adding an ADMS-EOC station enables the inclusion of Tactical and Strategic Riot Control by adding the planning, plotting, database and video capabilities they need. The Riot Control Vehicles can be scaled from a semi-immersive station to a full-immersive cab system to achieve complete driver training for learning how to drive in crowded urban environments. ADMS can also be used to plan and rehearse Riot Control Operations prior to expected incidents.
For industrial incidents, the combination of ADMS-COMMAND, ADMS-EOC, ADMS-DRIVE, and ADMS-ARFF is ideal. In this case the ARFF simulator layout and scoring will be configured as Industrial Foam Tenders. These trucks can be driven to the scene and operated by the drivers and vehicle commanders, whilst the incident commander uses a large projection screen for commanding and controlling his resources.
Adding an ADMS-EOC station enables the inclusion of the Industrial Disaster Management Team by adding the planning, plotting and database capabilities they need. The Foam Tender Units can be upgraded to ADMS-DRIVE for full-immersion driver training. Hundreds up to thousands of users per site can benefit from this Industrial Suite, making it a very cost effective solution.
This is a special type of fire fighting that in many cases requires large-scale operations. Therefore a combination of ADMS-COMMAND, ADMS-EOC, ADMS-DRIVE, and ADMS-ARFF can be an ideal solution. In this case the ARFF simulator layout and scoring will be configured for Forest Fire Tenders. These Forest Tenders can be driven in convoy to the scene and operated by the drivers and vehicle commanders, whilst the incident commander uses a large projection screen for commanding and controlling his resources.
Adding an ADMS-EOC-station enables the inclusion of the Forest Fire Incident Command Team by adding the planning, plotting and database capabilities they need. The Forest Fire Truck-Units can be upgraded to ADMS-DRIVE for full-immersion driver training, to learn how to drive in natural environments. Now you can train in the forest without disturbing the ecological system.
Emergency Medical Technicians, Trauma Surgeons and other emergency medical caregivers can be trained in response, triage, treatment, transportation and care as an individual service or as part of a multi-disciplinary response with Fire Departments, Police Departments, etc. The ADMS-COMMAND Medical Module allows trainees to assess virtual casualties, individually or on a mass scale, observe vital signs, decide severity of injuries, assign priorities, and choose treatment and transportation options. ETC worked with trauma doctors in validated the integrated medical information.
The ADMS casualty capability currently consists of 60 types of injuries with various medical conditions due to high impact incidents like car, bus, train and aircraft crashes. Quantities, types and severity of casualties can be adjusted within every incident situation. Every casualty is modeled according to the latest medical triage standards so medical staff can train intensively. Soon, the ADMS medical capability will include patient care in receiving hospitals as well as an expanded casualty database with trauma caused by hazardous materials and explosions.
