ADMS - the Advanced Disaster Management Simulator - ADMS is a virtual reality simulation used for training incident command and vehicle operation. The simulation consists of three-dimensional virtual environments (city, airport, port, ..) where dynamic safety and security incidents are created.

Virtual resources can be deployed to mitigate the situation. Fire fighters perform rescue and fire fighting tasks, ambulances can treat and transport casualties and police can secure the incident scene and control crowds. All actions happen in real time and show dynamically the effects on the incident situation.

The student views the incident situation and can walk through the on-scene virtual environment, make decisions, and give all necessary commands to the virtual resources to control the incident.

The instructor uses the instructor toolset to create training scenarios, influence the circumstances, operate the resources, and scores student’s performance for after action review

ADMS can be networked for single and multi-agency team training. And to drive and operate vehicles the simulator can be expanded with vehicle controls such as steering wheel and vehicle turret controls. ADMS is available as installed or portable system.
