| ETC Announces a Contract Award from the International Fire Training Center in England February 14, 2002 |
| Southampton, PA: February 14, 2002. Environmental Tectonics Corporation (AMEX: ETC), was selected to supply the Incident Command Simulator to Serco's International Fire Training Center (IFTC, www.iftc.co.uk in Darlington (Teesside Airport), England. Accredited by the United Kingdom, IFTC provides mandated training programs and recommendations of ICAO (International Civil Aviation Organization) for United Kingdom aviation firefighters and other trainees from more than 80 countries. The complexity of the training courses covers basic to advance, requiring a robust solution able to offer comprehensive training to all expertise levels. Advanced Disaster Management System (ADMS™) Incident Command Simulator can provide effective, comprehensive training program through interactive, real time disaster simulations. ADMS™ allows first responders to test and measure their aptitude, identify inaccuracy, and correct mistakes before making fatal decisions in the field. International Fire Training Center will begin implementing ADMS™ technology in early April of 2002.
