ETC Announces a Contract Award from the International Fire Training Center in England

Southampton, PA: February 14, 2002. Environmental Tectonics Corporation (AMEX: ETC), was selected to supply the Incident Command Simulator to Serco's International Fire Training Center (IFTC, www.iftc.co.uk in Darlington (Teesside Airport), England. Accredited by the United Kingdom, IFTC provides mandated training programs and recommendations of ICAO (International Civil Aviation Organization) for United Kingdom aviation firefighters and other trainees from more than 80 countries. The complexity of the training courses covers basic to advance, requiring a robust solution able to offer comprehensive training to all expertise levels. Advanced Disaster Management System (ADMS™) Incident Command Simulator can provide effective, comprehensive training program through interactive, real time disaster simulations. ADMS™ allows first responders to test and measure their aptitude, identify inaccuracy, and correct mistakes before making fatal decisions in the field. International Fire Training Center will begin implementing ADMS™ technology in early April of 2002.

Located in the widely-acclaimed "National Center for Simulation", the Central Florida Research Park in Orlando, Florida, ETC's Simulation Division has been providing highly sophisticated, customized simulators and training devices to both the commercial and military markets for more than 30 years. ETC is positioned to offer a unique and readily available disaster solution with the Advanced Disaster Management Simulator. ADMS™, Advanced Disaster Management Simulator, is the most capable reality-based virtual simulator available to public safety & emergency response organizations, airport and airline personnel, & government agencies to simulate major incidents (terrorist activities, HAZMAT, airfield incursions, fire, or natural disaster).
