Airport Crash Truck Operation (ADMS-ARFF)

ARFF VEHICLE SIMULATOR

The Aircraft Rescue Fire Fighting (ARRF) Vehicle Simulator enables crews to train how to deploy and operate an ARFF truck without actually using the real vehicle. It provides the operator confidence necessary to perform under extreme conditions. Training goals are: Driving and Communication, Vehicle Positioning, Fire Fighting with Turrets, and Command and Control. The system comes with multiple aircraft incidents and a single runway airport. To match your local situation we can add your vehicles, turret controls, and airport situation. The simulator is available as portable desktop simulator and as installed minicab. Multiple simulators can be networked for team training. The Instructor has full control over the training and can create fresh scenarios by using the Instructor Toolset.

HRET SIMULATOR

The High Reach Extendable Turret Simulator is a training aid which allows the operator to become familiar with, and enhance the skills necessary for actual hands on operation of the Rosenbauer HRET. The portable desktop system comes with a console that includes a real HRET-joystick and relevant switches. Trainees can drive to the incident scene, train various external and internal fire scenarios, and penetrate the aircraft by using the piercing device. Available aircraft scenarios are A380 and MD11. Computer based HRET Training Simulators are recognized as a training aid by the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), and can be funded under the Airport Improvement Program (AIP).
